An Christmas has also been affected by the pandemic as much as the other festivals. SOPs were issued for Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath to ensure no further spread of the virus during the celebrations.

Chandan Singh, dressed as Santa Claus said it’s important to disseminate the message to save lives. “People are tired of restrictions and they want to break the monotony. But the threat is not over yet. We have taken the onus on us to launch a massive campaign on the occasion of Christmas. We will educate people and make them abide by social distancing norms. We will educate them so that they wear masks and use sanitizers,” he said.

The SMS formula is very significant and everyone needs to abide by it. This is the message of Santa this Christmas. SMS stands for social distancing, mask and sanitation
